Capacitive Technology

Our Capacitive Touchscreens are an all-glass sensor made by coating TAO(Tin Antimony Oxide) on surfaces of the glass substrate.

Smooth operation can be expected in almost any tough environment. Capacitive touch panels are generally more affordable and offer a light transmission of 90% or more at a wavelength of 550. Resistive touch screens are not affected by outside elements such as dust or water.

Our 5-Wire Resistive touch screen is constructed with both a resistive and a thin, metallic, conductive layer.

When touched, a change in the electrical current is registered and sent to the controller for processing. Our touch panels are generally more affordable and offer a light transmission of 81% or more at a wavelength of 550. Resistive touch screens are not affected by outside elements such as dust or water.
